… of LOVE LUST FAITH + DREAMS has arrived! And it’s gorgeous. Awe yea.

So, is it even possible to pick a favorite song? Jared’s voice has so much more passion behind his lyrics, more than I’m used to hearing… which only makes this album completely and utterly beautiful. But what’s crazy, despite this fact, is that I love the songs that have different music that I’m not accustomed to hearing from them.. like “Pyres of Varanasi” and “Depuis Le Début”.

When it comes down to it, I love it all. Plain and simple. My all-time favorite song from them is “Hurricane” from the This Is War album. That was track number 6 on that album, and on LLF+D it’s “End of All Days”, and coincidentally, after hearing it, I thought to myself that that song would be this album’s version of “Hurricane”. With that said, I’m gonna have to settle on that song being my favorite for this album.

Yesterday in the news, I saw that a trending topic was Charles Manson and his upcoming parole hearing this week. The article I read said that he was planning to not even attend the meeting, but today I saw a new article that says that he now wants out. That’s besides the point…

I take a particular interest in learning about serial killers. I’ve done research on people like Manson, Ted Bundy, and Jeffrey Dahmer. A topic like this has always intrigued me in the weirdest of ways. It makes me wish I was a movie director.

I have this weird image in my head that if there was the right director and the right actor, a Charles Manson movie could be pulled off.

My idea is that David Fincher would be the ideal man to be the director, for he has this dark image in ALL of his movies and in the case of Manson, things about his life and his overall significance is dark, to say the least. To those of you who don’t know who Fincher is, he directed movies such as Fight Club, The Social Network, and the U.S. adaptation of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. In my opinion, he’s one of the best directors out there.

My idea also includes a suggestion for who would be ideal to play the lead role. After a lot of consideration, I brought it down Robert Downey Jr. or Jared Leto. Downey Jr. has the facial features that could match really well with a young Charles Manson, however I would have to say that Jared Leto would be a better match. Just look at these pictures:

The left is Manson, the right is Leto. I think Leto could pull the job off if there were to ever be such a movie made.

(For the record, this is not any disrespect to Leto. I love Jared and his band is my favorite of all-time, and I love his capabilities as an actor - I only wrote this post to make a point that Jared Leto would be a brilliant choice for this movie idea)
